    Salalah: Dhofar University ranked 121-140 in the Times Higher Education Arab universities ranking for the year 2022. Dhofar University is the only private university in the Sultanate of Oman that appeared in this classification for the first time at the level of Omani private universities.

    In a statement Dhofar University said: “Unprecedented Visibility of an Omani Private University in the Times Higher Education Arab Universities Ranking 2022 Dhofar University is ranked in the band 121-140 in the Times Higher Education Arab Universities Ranking 2022. For the first time ever, Dhofar University is the only private university in the Sultanate of Oman to attain this ranking.

    This achievement is the culmination of the University’s perpetual efforts to improve the quality of its educational, research and services programmes and to achieve its aspiration of becoming a distinguished destination among higher education institutions in the Arab world.
