Sohar: A meeting was held today at the Directorate General of Agricultural, Fisheries and Water Resources in the Governorate of North Al Batinah with a number of investors benefiting from the agricultural lands located in the village of Al Shatir in the Wilayat of Al Suwaiq.
During the meeting, the executive plan for the project for the production of dairy goats of Al-Sa’anin on an area of 100 acres was reviewed, and the implementation plan for the project of breeding the Cypriot Shami goats on an area of 100 acres on the same plan was discussed.
During the meeting, plots were also distributed to investors. It should be noted that the implementation of these projects comes within the objectives of “Oman Vision 2040” to provide food security from red meat, dairy products and its derivatives, and provide job opportunities.
