Dr. Jokha Al Shukaili to Lead Arab Network for Quality Assurance from 2026
Cairo: Dr. Jokha Abdullah Al Shukaili, Chief Executive Officer of the Oman Authority for Academic Accreditation and Quality Assurance of Education, was today elected Head of the Arab Network for Quality Assurance in Higher Education, effective 1 January 2026, for a term of four years.
Dr. Jokha’s election crowns a distinguished professional career marked by significant achievements in developing policies, frameworks and standards for educational quality and academic accreditation at both the national and regional levels.
She has played a pivotal role in enhancing the Sultanate of Oman’s standing in international educational forums through the adoption and promotion of best global practices in quality assurance in higher education.
Dr. Jokha has also contributed to strengthening regional and international cooperation through active participation in specialized networks and accreditation bodies, in addition to fostering the exchange of expertise with leading international institutions.
Her election reflects the high level of confidence placed in the Sultanate of Oman, represented by the Oman Authority for Academic Accreditation and Quality Assurance of Education, and affirms the distinguished status of Omani national competencies and their ability to lead regional and international initiatives.
