Oman Condemns Drone Targeting of Duqm Commercial Port
Muscat, 1 Mar 2026: A security source reported that the commercial port of Duqm Port was targeted by two unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs).
One of the drones struck a mobile workers’ housing unit, resulting in injuries to an expatriate worker, while the debris of the second drone landed in an area adjacent to fuel storage tanks, with no loss of life or material damage recorded.
The Sultanate of Oman affirmed its condemnation of the attack and confirmed that it is taking all necessary measures to address any actions that may compromise the safety and security of the nation and those residing within it.
