    • Drowning incident reported in Wadi Dayqah, Oman

    According to information, a case of drowning incident reported in Wadi Dayqah in Al Mazraa area in the Wilayat of Qurayyat.

    The drowned boy was a resident of the farms area and was studying in the 11th grade.

    As of writing this news, the official authorities have not released any information about the incident.

    The Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Water Resources had announced the opening of the Wadi Dayqah dam gate to drain about 20 million cubic meters of water during the period from 6 to 19 December 2022.
