Muscat: The Ministry of Awqaf and Religious Affairs will carry out an automatic sorting and granting eligibility for the Hajj season 1444 AH next Sunday, and those who are eligible will have five days to contract through the electronic system with Hajj companies.

With the closing of registration on the fifth of March, the total number of Hajj requests submitted through the electronic system to perform the Hajj rituals for the 1444 AH season reached 33,536, including 29,930 requests from Omanis, and 3,606 requests from residents of the Sultanate of Oman.

The Governorate of Al Dakhiliyah recorded the highest number of applications, followed by the Governorate of North Al Batinah, and then the Governorate of Muscat.
