    • Earthquake of 4.7 magnitude reported in Southern Iran, 113km from Khasab

    Muscat: The Earthquake Monitoring Center at Sultan Qaboos University said that an earthquake measuring 4.7 magnitude was detected in Southern Iran, Hormozgan today 17th Jan 2021.

    The center indicated that the earthquake occurred at 6:50 am today, at a depth of 10 km.

    The center stated that the earthquake was 113 km away from Khasab
