    • Earthquake reported in Oman Sea 55km from Khasab

    Muscat: The Earthquake Monitoring Center at Sultan Qaboos University said that an earthquake measuring 2.4 magnitude was detected in Oman sea, on Sunday 17th Jan 2021.

    The center indicated that the earthquake occurred at 9:37 pm on Sunday, at a depth of 10 km.

    The center stated that the earthquake was 55 km away from Khasab
