Eid al Adha: His Majesty pardons 217 prisoners, including 101 expats

Muscat : His Majesty Sultan Haitham Bin Tarik has issued his special pardon to more than 200 inmates convicted in various cases on the occasion of Eid Al Adha.

“His Majesty Sultan Haitham Bin Tarik, the Supreme Commander issues a special pardon for 217 prison inmates, including 101 foreign inmates who were convicted in various cases, coinciding with the occasion of Eid Al Adha 1444 AH, and out of consideration for the families of these inmates,” Oman News Agency (ONA), said in a statement.
