    • Emergency-alert test in Dhofar today

    Dhofar: Oman’s Telecommunications Regulatory Authority (TRA), in cooperation with Civil Aviation Authority, will conduct Emergency-alert test on weather conditions via mobile phones in Dhofar at 10 am on Wednesday. 

    This emergency-test is conducted with the objective of ensuring weather alerts reach people as quickly as possible 

    In a statement the TRA said: the trial will be held in the Wilayat of Salalah, Taqah, Mirbat, Rakhyut, Dhalkhut, Sadah, and Shalim and Hallaniyat Islands on 17 May 2023.
