    • Emirati astronaut shares picture of Oman from space

    Muscat: Sultan Al-Neyadi, an Emirati astronaut, published a stunning picture of Oman and UAE, which he took from the International Space Station (ISS).

    The astronaut through his accounts on social media, Sultan Al-Neyadi posted the picture, commenting: “Oman and UAE united as one from space. Celebrating the strong ties and shared heritage that bind us .”

    Al-Neyadi has been publishing stunning views of Earth from space, in addition to sharing some of his challenges and achievements. Al-Neyadi had previously shared photos of Arab cities, most notably Makkah, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Qatar, Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Baghdad and Rabat.

    SpaceX launhced Al Neyadi, a Russian cosmonaut, and two NASA astronauts on a six months spaceflight in March 2 by becoming the first Arab to join he will be there until September.
