The Ministry of Heritage and Tourism announces the postponement of the third edition of the Empty Quarter Festival in Dhofar Governorate, which was scheduled to start next January 2024.

It is worth noting that the festival activities are held in the Al-Khadf area in the Al-Shasr district of the state of Thumrait.

Holding the festival annually comes within the efforts of the Ministry of Heritage and Tourism to achieve the vision of the tourism development plan for Dhofar Governorate to be a sustainable tourist destination throughout the year, in addition to highlighting the elements of winter tourism, attracting investors and introducing them to possible investment opportunities.

During its period, the festival usually hosts many heritage, tourism, entertainment and sporting events, in addition to organizing challenge competitions, marketing exhibitions and various artistic concerts.
