Establishment of Diplomatic Relations between the Oman and the Bahamas

New York: The Sultanate of Oman and the Commonwealth of the Bahamas signed in New York the joint statement on the establishment of diplomatic relations based on the existing relations of cooperation and friendship between them.

The statement was signed on behalf of the government of the Sultanate of Oman, His Excellency Ambassador Dr. Mohammed bin Awad Al Hassan, the Sultanate’s permanent representative to the United Nations, and on behalf of the government of the Commonwealth of the Bahamas, His Excellency Ambassador Stan Udoma Smith, its permanent representative to the United Nations.
