Europcar Oman & Bahrain, a leading mobility services company, held its highly anticipated annual staff event recently at Crowne Plaza Hotel OCEC, bringing together employees from across the organization for a day of celebration, team building, and recognition.
Keeping the theme- Health & Wellness in mind, the event kicked off with an enthusiastic welcome address, highlighting the company’s achievements in 2023 and setting the stage for even greater success in 2024. The core values of excellence, innovation, and teamwork were emphasized as the driving forces behind the company’s accomplishments.
Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Nitin Sapre, took to the stage to inspire the staff with his leadership message, emphasizing the importance of action and example in driving success. His speech set a positive tone for the day’s activities.
The event featured a range of engaging activities, including a raffle draw with plenty of tickets up for grabs. Fifteen lucky employees won raffle tickets through a spin-the-wheel game, while the additional winners discovered raffle tickets through a treasure hunt !
United Events led the staff through invigorating team-building activities, fostering stronger bonds among the employees. The activities aimed to promote increased productivity, better communication, and a positive work environment.
The event also highlighted Europcar’s commitment to corporate social responsibility (CSR). HE. Dr. Wahid Ali Al Kharusi -FRCS, President of the Oman Cancer Association delivered an enlightening presentation on how to prevent and control cancer and raised awareness on improving the quality of life of cancer patients.
KIMS, one of the best healthcare centres based in Oman since 2009, showcased its holistic health programs, including yoga and nutrition, encouraging a focus on physical and mental well-being for enhanced productivity and work-life balance.
The evening concluded with Ms. Anita Kotian, the Finance Manager along with Mr. Ali Al Rajhi, the Chief Happiness Officer, awarding the star performers and recognizing their outstanding contributions.
The Managing Director of Ajit Khimji Group, Mr. Rishi Khimji delivered a closing speech expressing his gratitude and presenting a charitable donation on behalf of Europcar Oman & Bahrain to Oman Cancer Association in support of the chosen cause.
