Muscat: Expat work contract registration mandatory from July 1 said Ministry of Labour
In a statement Ministry of Labour said: “The Ministry of Labour hereby notifies all concerned parties that starting from the 1st of July, 2023, it is mandatory to register employment contracts for non-Omani workforce employed in both profit and non-profit establishments, including citizens, residents, and government entities. With only 30 days remaining until the specified date, it is essential for employers to immediately activate their personal identification cards with electronic authentication for non-Omani workforce and proceed with the electronic registration of their employment contracts. This action is vital to ensure uninterrupted services and electronic transactions with the Ministry.”
