The percentage of expatriate workers in the private sector reached 14.45% on an annual basis in May 2023, making up 1.4 million people.
The statistics of the National Center for Statistics and Information, according to Opal Capital, showed an increase in the percentage of expatriates in the family sector by 22.10% on an annual basis, bringing the total number of expatriate workers to 327,000.
The number of expatriates working in the government sector also increased to 32.68% on an annual basis, with a total of 44 thousand people, while the total expatriate labor force reached 1.78 million at the end of May 2020.
