Muscat: The forecast indicates the onset of varying intensity rainfall across most parts of Oman. this may lead to flash flooding in the valleys and watercourses said Civil Aviation Authority (CAA)
CAA said: The latest forecasts and analyses from the National Early Warning Center for Multiple Risks indicate the onset of varying intensity rainfall over parts of the governorates of Musandam, Al Buraimi, North Al Batinah, Al Dhahirah. This has led to flash flood flow. The expectations for this Saturday include heavy to extremely heavy rainfall over the governorates of Musandam, Al Buraimi, North Al Batinah, Al Dhahirah and the rain is expected to extend to include the governorates Al Dakhiliyah, South Al Batinah, Muscat, North Shargiyah, and South Shargiyah in the afternoon and evening. The intensity is expected to persist to varying degrees on Sunday. Additionally, the flow and formation of clouds with scattered rainfall are expected in the governorates of Al Wusta and Dhofar

Heavy to extremely heavy rainfall (30-150) may lead to flash flooding in the valleys and watercourses
Strong downdraft winds (15-50) may result in the dispersion of loose materials Intense hailfall could cause damage to properties and vehicles.
The sea Waves are expected to be rough (2.0-3.0) along most coastlines
