    • Feld campaign launched to combat red palm weevil in Oman’s Yanqul

    Yanqul: The Wilayat of Yanqul in Al Dhahirah Governorate has expanded field campaign to combat the “Red Palm Weevil” was implemented by the Directorate General of Agricultural Wealth and Water Resources in the governorate, with the participation of 45 teams.

    The campaign comes within the framework of keen interest in preserving the safety of palm trees and taking precautionary and preventive measures to limit the spread of the insect in uninfected palm trees.

    The campaign will continue until the 2nd of March and will target various villages and wilayats of Al Dhahirah Governorate.
