Sohar: Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry (OCCI) in North Al Batinah Governorate organized a meeting for women entrepreneurs with the aim of supporting entrepreneurial efforts and projects, exchanging experiences and knowledge, and finding joint initiatives among businesswomen’s committees in other branches.
During the meeting, a visual presentation was presented on the prospects for community work to empower women economically, the role of female entrepreneurs in trade and the economy, and the development of the role of women in entrepreneurship in the Sultanate of Oman.
The meeting was attended by the heads of businesswomen’s committees in the Chamber’s branches in a number of governorates, in an effort to contribute to the development of the business community and inculcate a culture of self-employment among Omani women.
