    Muscat: The Colombian cyclist Fernando Javiera of the UAE team achieved first place at the conclusion of the first stage of the Tour of Oman 2022. The British Mark Cavenditch of the Belgian Quick Step team came in second place, and the Australian Caden Groves of the Bike Exchange team came in third.
