    Muscat: Final lists of candidates for Shura Council to be announced in Oman tomorrow

    In a statement Oman News Agency said: The Ministry of Interior will tomorrow (Wednesday) announce the final lists of candidates to the Shura Council 10th Term membership. The names of candidates will be circulated via the digital app “Intikhab” and published in the elections’ website (elections.om).

    As per Article 44 of the Shura Council Elections Law, candidates may stage electoral campaigns to introduce themselves, right from the date of announcement of final lists until the penultimate day of voting.

    The deadline for withdrawing candidacy will be Sunday, 3 September 2023.
