Final qualifiers for Sultan Qaboos Holy Quran Competition begins

Muscat: The final qualifiers for the Sultan Qaboos Holy Quran Competition in its 31st edition this year began today in the lecture hall of the Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque in the Wilayat of Bausher, and will continue during the period from the 19th to the 23rd of this month, organized by the Sultan Qaboos Higher Center for Culture. And science.

Dr. Saeed bin Humaid Al-Duwayani, Vice Chairman of the Preliminary and Final Qualifying Committees for the Sultan Qaboos Holy Quran Competition, said that the final qualifying jury will listen to (11) male and female contestants from the seven levels of the competition in one day.

He explained that the 31st edition of the Sultan Qaboos Holy Quran Competition this year witnessed a wide turnout by applicants through the competition’s website, as their number reached (1,638) male and female contestants in all seven levels, and after competing in the initial qualifiers, 56 of them qualified for the final qualifiers.

There are 8 contestants from each level. It is worth noting that the competition in its current version includes 7 levels: the first level (memorizing the entire Holy Qur’an), the second level (memorizing 24 consecutive parts), the third level (memorizing 18 consecutive parts), and the fourth level (memorizing 12 consecutive parts).

The contestant is required to be Those born in 1998 and above, the fifth level (memorizing 6 consecutive parts), in which the contestant is required to be born in 2009 and above, the sixth level (memorizing four consecutive parts), in which the contestant is required to be born in 2013 and above, the seventh level (memorizing two consecutive parts), in which it is required The contestant must be born in 2016 or higher.
