    Muscat: Fine up-to OMR 3,000, three-years imprisonment for Online gambling in Oman

    In a statement Oman Public Prosecution said online: Using the internet or means of information technology to gamble or to produce, disseminate, distribute purchase or possess anything that construes or an attack on public morality, violates the same or promotes programs, ideas, or activities that construe the same, is an offense punishable by imprisonment for a period that extends to (3) three years and a fine up-to (3000) three thousand omani rials or by either one of these two sentences.
