Firdaws School for teaching the Holy Quran opened in Salalah

Salalah: The Wilayat of Salalah celebrated the inauguration of Al-Firdaws School for teaching the Holy Quran, which is supervised by the Directorate General of Awqaf and Religious Affairs in Dhofar Governorate.

The opening ceremony included a visual presentation about the school, a religious anthem, and an introductory tour of the various school facilities.

The engineer, Sheikh Mohammed bin Ahmed Al-Gharibi, the supervisor of the school, gave a speech in which he pointed out the importance of teaching the Holy Qur’an and taking care of it in memorization and understanding, referring to the efforts of the Ministry of Endowments and Religious Affairs in spreading the Holy Qur’an memorization schools.

The school building includes four classrooms, with a capacity of /15/ students, as the school accommodates 120 students, two academic days per week, in addition to a multi-purpose hall that can accommodate more than 50 people.

The school also contains a diverse library that includes more than 100 titles in the Qur’an, hadith, jurisprudence, biography, literature, language, education, family life, human development, self-development, management and business. The inauguration was sponsored by Ahmed bin Ali Al Busaidi, Director General of the Directorate General of Endowments and Religious Affairs in Dhofar Governorate.
