    • Fire breaks out in wooden boat in Musandam, 2 injured: CDAA

    The firefighting and rescue teams in the Musandam Governorate responded to a report of a fire in a wooden boat of the “launch” type in the port of Khasab.

    The teams, in cooperation with the Governorate Police Command and the Royal Air Force of Oman, were able to control the fire and prevent it from spreading to ships anchored in the port.

    As a result of the accident, two crew members were injured, and they were given emergency medical care, and they were taken to the hospital in a minor health condition.

    The authority calls on ship owners and their employees to adhere to safety procedures related to ships, in order to avoid dangers.
