    • First omani lawyer passes away

    Muscat: The Omani Lawyers Association mourned the attorney, Suad bint Muhammad al-Lamkiya, who passed away this evening, the first legal advisor in Oman and the Gulf.

    In a statement Oman Legal Network said : The late is considered the first Omani legal profession, She joined the Irish Trinity University in 1959 to study law, and her CV reminds us of her work as a legal advisor in the Ministry of Legal Affairs for 17 years, as well as her many contributions to government work and the representation of the Sultanate in a number of international events.
