Muscat: Sayyid Badr bin Hamad Al Busaidi, Foreign Minister, received this evening Gérard Mestrallet, Special Envoy of President Emmanuel Macron of the French Republic. During the meeting, the two sides discussed the existing Oman-France friendship and ways to develop cooperation and partnership in the fields of trade, economy, supply chains, transport and communications.
The two sides also exchanged views on geopolitical developments on the regional and international arenas and ways to address challenges and issues through peaceful means. They also highlighted the positive aspects of international relations that yield benefits for peoples and national economies and achieve prosperity for all. The meeting was attended by Eng. Said bin Hamoud Al Maawali, Minister of Transport, Communications and Information Technology.
