Sohar Festival Returns for Its Fourth Edition Until End of January
Sohar: The fourth edition of the Sohar Festival will commence tomorrow, Monday, 22 December 2025, and will continue until 31 January 2026, offering a diverse programme of cultural, entertainment, tourism, and heritage activities catering to various age groups.
The festival places special emphasis on enhancing Omani identity and promoting domestic tourism, through events and experiences that reflect the Sultanate of Oman’s rich cultural heritage and contemporary creativity.
One of the festival’s key attractions is the “Omnia Museum”, which provides visitors with an interactive experience powered by artificial intelligence (AI), blending innovation with learning and entertainment.
The festival venue will also host an integrated Omani village, showcasing traditional lifestyles and local elements, alongside a range of activities including a photography competition, kite-flying, and go-karting.
In addition, the festival programme includes carnival shows, concerts, and a variety of commercial stalls, offering family-friendly entertainment and opportunities for private businesses and entrepreneurs. This makes the Sohar Festival a comprehensive destination appealing to families, children, youth, and visitors from across the Sultanate.
