Oman Shooting Association Concludes Omani-Italian Friendship Championship

Muscat:  The fourth edition of the Omani-Italian Friendship Shotgun Championship, organized by the Oman Shooting Association, concluded today under the patronage of Brigadier General Khalid bin Ali Al Muqbali, Director General of Military Sports at the Sultan’s Armed Forces General Staff and Secretary General of the Oman Shooting Association.

Held at the Ghala International Shooting Unit, the championship aimed to refine and develop skills in flying target shooting, qualify shooters for participation in international competitions, and enhance the exchange of technical expertise among participants. It also sought to strengthen the competencies of national referees and expand opportunities for their participation in international sporting forums.

The championship featured individual skeet and trap competitions, in addition to mixed skeet and mixed trap events.

At the conclusion of the championship, the patron of the event presented medals to the winners who secured the top positions in the various competitions.
