    Galfar wins OMR 100-million contract from PDO

    Muscat: Oman-based Galfar Engineering and Contracting Company revealed that it has secured a major contract worth RO 100-million from Petroleum Development Oman (PDO).

    In a disclosure to Muscat Stock Exchange the company said: “We are pleased to inform our esteemed shareholders that Petroleum Development Oman LLC (PDO) has awarded Galfar the “Project Delivery Contract Qarn Alam” a Letter of Award (LoA) that was formally accepted by both parties on 30/01/2024 and approval from PDO to disclose was confirmed today.

    The value of this call-off contract is approximately OMR 100 million (Omani Rial One Hundred Million) for an execution period of 5 Years with effect from 30/01/ 2024. We expect this contract to have a positive impact.

    We take this opportunity to express our appreciation to Petroleum Development Oman LLC for the confidence vested on Galfar through this award.”
