Riyadh: Voltamp Power SAOC (Voltamp Energy SAOG) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with GCC Electrical Testing Laboratories (GCC LAB, Saudi Arabia), an independent laboratory, to collaborate in providing Installation, Testing & Commissioning activity including Power Transformer repair and maintenance support to Saudi Electricity Company and Saudi Aramco in the Kingdom to enhance Grid reliability and availability while lowering downtime and operational costs. Drawing on Voltamp’s Power Transformer manufacturing and repair capabilities – the MoU marks the key cooperation and collaboration initiatives by Oman and Saudi Industries to support greater productivity and resource use optimization by Saudi Arabia and Oman.
The MoU was signed during the Saudi-Omani Industries Exhibition 2023 in Riyadh by Saleh Al-Amri, CEO, GCC Electrical Testing Laboratory and Mohammed Ajmal Basha, CEO of Voltamp Power Transformers.
Saleh Al-Amri, CEO, GCC Electrical Testing Laboratory, said, “This is a strategic initiative for GCC LAB, an enterprise that aims to energize the region’s power sector as well as other industries and enhance efficiency and productivity. Our collaboration with Voltamp will help build a strong platform to support our customers in the Saudi Arabia to meet their operational challenges and to transfer safe and reliable Power.
