Salalah: Participants in the GCC Forum for the Blind, which concluded here today, recommended activating the role of talented people with visual disabilities. They also called for holding online workshops for this segment in coordination with the associations concerned.
The forum also recommended deepening the culture of training and education for people with visual disabilities from a young age and issuing periodic bulletins to help them gain experience and to raise awareness among their respective communities.
The closing ceremony was held under the auspices of Sheikh Mohammed Saif Al Busaidi, Wali of Salalah. The event highlighted the programmes and activities organized by Al Noor Association for the Blind’s branch in Dhofar Governorate. Moreover, speakers and organizers were felicitated.
