GCC Housing Undersecretaries Discuss Plans Ahead of 21st Ministers Meeting in Muscat

Muscat: GCC housing undersecretaries held a meeting here today to prepare for the 21st GCC Housing Ministers Meeting due to be held later in Muscat.

Today’s meeting was held under the chairmanship of Eng. Hamad Ali Al Nazwani, Housing Undersecretary at the Ministry of Housing and Urban Planning.

The meeting discussed the GCC housing action plan for the years 2024-2030, the housing strategy of the past five years and coordination of housing data.

The officials agreed on a mechanism to benefit from specialized conferences and workshops in the field of housing and exchanged views about joint preparation for regional and international conferences. They studied means of highlighting member states’ efforts in regional and international forums through strong participation in the events. – ONA
