    • GCC research and innovation officials hold extraordinary meeting

    Salalah: The GCC Secretariat General held here today the extraordinary meeting of the permanent committee of GCC research and innovation officials under the chair of Dr. Rahma Ibrahim Al Mahrouqi, Minister of Higher Education, Research and Innovation.

    The meeting was held in cooperation with the Ministry of Higher Education, Research and Innovation.

    Moreover, the meeting discussed decisions of the 22nd meeting of GCC committee of higher education and research ministers. It also touched on the committee’s work mechanism for the coming period, including procedures that require joint coordination.

    The extraordinary meeting was held on the sidelines of a forum titled “The Reality and Future of Research and Innovation in the GCC Countries”, held in Salalah. – ONA
