Muscat: Oman Vision 2040 Implementation Follow-up Unit today held a briefing about the vision for a group of outstanding students who excelled in the General Education Diploma (GED) for academic year 2022-2023.
The introductory meeting was also attended by the students’ parents.
During the meeting, Dr. Khamis Saif Al Jabri, Chairman of Oman Vision 2040 Implementation Follow-up Unit, gave a presentation on the vision and its objectives.
Al Jabri outlined the aspirations of the vision and underscored the students’ role in promoting their country through science, knowledge and sound values.
This meeting constitutes a step forward in activating the potential of top talents within the context of an empowerment programme for social engagement. It was in pursuance of the unit’s approach to enlighten various segments of society about the components and objectives of the vision. It also charts out tracks for the community’s contribution to Oman Vision 2040. – ONA
