German President To Visit Oman from November 27-29

Muscat: President Dr. Frank-Walter Steinmeier of the Federal Republic of Germany will pay an official visit this Monday to the Sultanate of Oman.

A statement was issued by the Diwan of Royal Court to this effect. It reads as follows: “In reiteration of the Royal keenness attached by His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik to hold meetings with world leaders to discuss regional situations and finding ways that maintain global peace and harmony, President Dr. Frank-Walter Steinmeier of the Federal Republic of Germany will pay an official visit to the Sultanate of Oman with effect from Monday 27/11/2023 till Wednesday 29/11/2023.

The visit reflects the advanced relations binding the Sultanate of Oman and the Federal Republic of Germany.

The visit will explore the joint areas of cooperation that serve the two countries’ interests and aspirations.

It will also discuss the current regional issues.

May the Almighty Allah protect His Majesty the Sultan and grant him success for the good of his people and the world at large!” – ONA
