Global HSE Conference and Exhibition Begins

Muscat (ONA) : The 8th edition of the Global, Heath, Safety and Environment (Global HSE) Conference and Exhibition began at the Oman Convention and Exhibition Centre here today.

The 4-day event is themed, “HSE Excellence – Leadership, Sustainability and Technology”.

The event was held under the patronage of Eng.Said Hamoud Al Ma’awali, Minister of Transport, Communications and Information Technology. 

This edition of the Global HSE aims to continue the tradition of creating a sustainable and premium platform to discuss the various challenges faced by the industry and community, and ultimately conclude with solutions for protecting the lives of people and the environment. 

This version of the conference seeks to highlight three pillars-leadership commitment, use of technology and mainstream focus on sustainable goals that organizations can persist in the current competitive and challenging market while having to meet legal requirements and communities’ expectations.

The conference addresses the importance of health, safety, and environment for human capital development and its impact on the economic and social development aligned with the industrial modernization and production efficiency in Oman.

The conference includes 5 high-level keynote address sessions, 7 panel discussions, 7 technical sessions and 7 workshops that address several important topics, such as Process Safety Management, International HSE Management Standards, Pandemic Risk and Response Management for Major Industries, Energy Efficiency and Climate Change, as well as successful practical experiences in the areas of health, safety, and environment, among other topics. The conference sees the participation of as many as 125 expert speakers in this field and it is expected to receive more than 2000 participants from 25 countries.
