Government Communication Center holds its 26th meeting

Muscat: The Ministry of Information, represented by the Government Communication Centre, today organised the 26th Government Communication Meeting, which discussed the role of corporate communication in building the mental image of institutions, with the participation of communication and media managers in government institutions.

During the meeting, the center reviewed the strategic projects it implemented in cooperation with various institutions during the past period, and presented content on strategies and mechanisms for building institutional reputation, in addition to the best communication practices that enhance public trust and interaction.

During the meeting, the center hosted Saeed bin Jumaa Al Busaidi, a marketing and corporate communications specialist, who gave a presentation on the role of artificial intelligence in improving the mental image and reputation management of institutions.

He explained the potential of artificial intelligence technologies in analyzing audience interactions, anticipating reactions, and directing messages in line with their orientations and aspirations, which helps institutions manage their reputation effectively.

The presentation also included a set of tools to measure the impact of corporate communication and the extent to which it achieves the desired goals.

Ibrahim bin Salem Al Salmi, Director General of the Government Communication Center, stressed the importance of these periodic meetings organized by the center for those responsible for communication in government institutions, noting that they provide a real opportunity to exchange experiences and discuss the challenges facing institutional communication in achieving its goals and raising the level of communication performance.

He added that effective communication with the public is a fundamental pillar for the success of institutions, and these meetings help in providing modern tools and trends that enable government agencies to build a positive reputation and mental image in society.
