Governor of Muscat Sponsors Opening Ceremony of Innovation and Knowledge-Based Economy Forum

Muscat: His Excellency Sayyid Saud bin Hilal Al Busaidi, the Governor of Muscat, sponsored the opening ceremony of the Innovation and Knowledge-Based Economy Forum at Oman Institute for Oil and Gas (InstOG), organized by the Ministry of Higher Education, Research and Innovation within the activities of the Oman Innovation Festival.

The organization of this forum aims to construct a sustainable platform, create a positive and supportive environment for innovators, enhance communication and institutional cooperation, and create an effective partnership between the concerned entities that support the activation of the innovation system. As well as enhancing methods of investment and financing in the field of innovation to supply the market with innovative services and products.

This forum is considered as an interactive forum in which specialists in the field of innovation and intellectual property participate in various educational, academic, governmental, private and civil sectors. Additionally providing best practices in the field of innovation and intellectual property by specialists and experts at the national, regional and international levels.
