Higher Institute of Health Specialties Celebrates Graduation of 192 Students
Muscat: The Higher Institute of Health Specialties today celebrated the graduation of 192 students from the 29th batch of its specialized health academic programs. The ceremony was held under the patronage of His Excellency Sheikh Ghosn bin Hilal Al Alawi, Head of the State Financial and Administrative Audit Institution, at Al Bustan Palace Hotel.
In her speech, Dr. Manal bint Abdul Majeed Al Zadjali, Dean of the Higher Institute of Health Specialties, stated that the total number of the institute’s graduates—equipped with competitive skills and competencies at the local, regional, and international levels—has reached 3,878 graduates from all governorates of the Sultanate of Oman, contributing to the development and advancement of the health sector.
She added that the graduation of this cohort coincides with the journey of an ambitious nation that places human capital at the core of development under Oman Vision 2040, noting that investment in national health competencies represents a fundamental pillar in building an advanced, sustainable, and resilient healthcare system.
Dr. Al Zadjali emphasized that working in the health sector is not merely a profession, but rather a noble humanitarian mission founded on compassion, respect for human dignity, teamwork, and professional responsibility.
The graduation ceremony included several segments, notably a visual presentation highlighting the role and achievements of the Higher Institute of Health Specialties, as well as a poetic recital.
At the conclusion of the ceremony, His Excellency Sheikh Ghosn bin Hilal Al Alawi presented certificates to the graduates and honored private sector institutions that sponsored the event.
