His Majesty Sultan Haitham issues Royal decree to establish New Medical University City in Muscat

Muscat: His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik today issued three Royal decrees as follows:

First: Royal Decree No. (10/2024) defining the competencies of the Ministry of Health and approving its organizational structure.

Second: Royal Decree No. (11/2024) establishing the Medical University City and promulgates its system.

Third: Royal Decree No. (12/2024) conducts placement of officials in some posts..

Appointment of Dr. Fatima bint Muhammad bin Baqir Al-Ajamiya as CEO of the Omani Council for Medical Specialties with the same rank and financial allocations, Dr. Ahmed bin Salem bin Saif Al-Mandhari as Undersecretary of the Ministry of Health for Health Planning and Organization, Sulaiman bin Nasser bin Khamis Al-Hajji as Undersecretary of the Ministry of Health for Administrative and Financial Affairs, and Ahmed bin Saleh bin Sufyan Al-Rashidi, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Endowments and Religious Affairs, and Mahmoud bin Abdullah bin Ahmed Al-Awaini, Secretary-General of the Ministry of Finance, with the special rank.
