    • H M The Sultan Receives Written Message from Emir of Kuwait

    Muscat: His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik has received a written message from Sheikh Mishal Al Ahmed Al Jabir Al Sabah, Emir of Kuwait. The message includes an invitation to His Majesty to attend the 45th GCC Summit, due to be held in Kuwait next month (December).

    The message was handed over to Sayyid Badr bin Hamad Al Busaidi, when he received in Muscat today Abdullah Ali Abdullah Al Yahya, Kuwait’s Foreign Minister, Envoy of the Emir.

    During the meeting, the two sides reviewed relations between the two countries and means of promoting them in various areas. They also discussed a set of regional and international issues of common interest.

    The meeting was attended by Sheikh Ahmed Hashil Al Maskari, Head of the GCC and Regional Neighbourhood Department, Dr. Mohammed Al Hajri, Ambassador of Kuwait to Oman and some officials from both sides.
