Muscat: Oman Qatar Insurance Company announced the appointment of Hassan Yassin Ali Al Lawati as CEO of the company, after obtaining regulatory approvals.
According to a company disclosure Hassan Al Lawati who will replace Naveen Kumar, who resigned from September 8, and the company said in a disclosure on the Muscat Securities Market website that Hassan Al Lawati has 12 years of experience in the field and is one of the emerging leaders in the Omani market arena.
Al Lawati is a member of the Board of Directors of the Oman Insurance Association and a member of the Finance and Insurance Committee of the Oman Chamber of Commerce.
His bespoke knowledge of risk management and Omani insurance market will greatly help the company when he takes over in his new role, added in the statement OQIC.
