HH Sayyid Asaad Heads To India For G20 Summit

Muscat: Representing His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik, HH Sayyid Asa’ad bin Tarik Al Said, Deputy Prime Minister for International Relations and Cooperation Affairs, Personal Representative of His Majesty the Sultan, left here today for the Republic of India to head the Sultanate of Oman’s delegation at the G20 Summit, due to be held in New Delhi on 9 and 10 September 2023.

HH Sayyid Asa’ad and his accompanying delegation were seen off by Dr. Abdullah Nasser Al Harrasi, Minister of Information, Salim Mohammed Al Mahrouqi, Minister of Heritage and Tourism, Eng. Salim Nasser Al Oufi, Minister of Energy and Minerals, Dr. Mohammed Said Al Ma’amari, Minister of Endowments and Religious Affairs, Amit Narang, Ambassador of the Republic of India to the Sultanate of Oman and Saif Mohammed Al Abri, Secretary General at the Office of HH Sayyid Asa’ad.

HH Sayyid Asa’ad is accompanied by an official delegation comprising Sayyid Badr Hamad Al Busaidi, Foreign Minister, Dr. Said Mohammed Al Saqri, Minister of Economy, Qais Mohammed Al Yousef, Minister of Commerce, Industry and Investment Promotion, Issa Saleh Al Shaibani, Ambassador of the Sultanate of Oman to the Republic of India, advisers at HH Sayyid Asa’ad’s Office and Pankaj Khimji, Advisor for Foreign Trade and International Cooperation at the Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Investment Promotion.
