    Muscat: His Highness Sayyid Bilarab bin Haitham Al Said to patronize the launch of the “Investment and Startups Forum” activities, organized by the Small and Medium Enterprises Development Authority in cooperation with a number of government institutions.

    The Investment and Emerging Companies Forum is the first event of its kind in the Sultanate of Oman, is scheduled to be held during the period from 12 to 13 December 2022 in Oman Convention and Exhibition Center.

    The forum aims to spread the culture of emerging companies based on innovation and advanced technologies and benefit from various international experiences in the presence of international speakers with extensive experience in the field, open wide horizons for marketing startups regionally and globally, provide support for young people in the initial stages of ideas, and find innovative financing solutions for these categories. The forum is an opportunity to raise the chances of Omani start-ups to obtain financing and investment, and to develop their system, while identifying the most important directions and initiatives supporting them.

    The forum will focus on three main axes: capacity building for startups, financing and investing in startups based on innovation and advanced technologies, in addition to the legislative environment that includes all the legislation required by startups.
