The prayers were led by Sheikh Dr. Kahlan bin Nabhan Al Kharousi, Assistant Grand Mufti of the Sultanate of Oman, who delivered the Eid sermon.

At the outset of the sermon, Dr. Kahlan glorified the Almighty Allah and voiced gratitude to Him for the bounties and blessings with which He endowed His creations. On this blessed occasion, HH Sayyid Fahd expressed his best wishes to all citizens and residents on the Happy Eid. He prayed to the Almighty Allah to bring back this auspicious occasion at a time of peace and blessings for His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik and to grant him good health, happiness and a long life.

Dr. Kahlan prayed to the Almighty Allah “to grant His Majesty the Sultan and the government success in realizing the goals of the development march in this country in accordance with the plans drawn up to preserve the gains of the Renaissance and meet the aspirations of Omani people”. He prayed to the Almighty to endow all Muslim nations with security, peace and stability.
