HH Sayyid Fahd Receive Egypt’s Minister of Endowments

Muscat: HH Sayyid Fahd bin Mahmoud Al Said, Deputy Prime Minister for the Council of Ministers today received Dr. Mohammed Mokhtar Goma, Minister of Awqaf of the Arab Republic of Egypt.

At the beginning of the meeting, the guest conveyed greetings of the Egyptian leadership and best wishes to the leadership in the Sultanate of Oman, wishing the Omani people further progress and prosperity. He also asserted the attention accorded by the Arab Republic of Egypt to its distinguished relations with the Sultanate of Oman in several spheres.

After welcoming the guest, HH Sayyid reviewed the course of the advanced relations binding the two countries, thanks to the firm ties binding the two leaderships and their brotherly peoples.

Conversation during the meeting reviewed the relations of bilateral cooperation between the two countries and the joint interest in issues of concern to the Islamic world and stability of its countries, as well as the benign efforts exerted in various fields. The meeting also highlighted the real image of Islam at all levels.

The Egyptian Minister of Awqaf commended the wise, balanced policy pursued by the Sultanate of Oman, as well as its positive role in backing efforts of understanding and constructive dialogue among countries to support security and stability. He also underscored the importance of the talks he conducted with the Minister of Endowments and Religious Affairs in Oman, as well as their positive reflections on the existing cooperation between the two countries.

The meeting was attended by Dr. Mohammed bin Said Al Ma’amari, Minister of Endowments and Religious Affairs and Khalid Mohammed Abdulhalim Radhi, Ambassador of the Arab Republic of Egypt to the Sultanate of Oman. – ONA
