HH Sayyid Shihab Receives Outgoing German Ambassador

Muscat: Delegated by His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik, HH Sayyid Shihab bin Tarik Al Said, Deputy Prime Minister for Defence Affairs, today received Thomas Schneider, Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Germany to the Sultanate of Oman, to bid him farewell at the end of his tour of duty.

HH Sayyid Shihab expressed his thanks to the Ambassador for the efforts he made to enhance relations between Oman and Germany. He wished the ambassador success in his future assignments.

For his part, the Ambassador commended the strong relations between the two countries. He voiced his delight and appreciation for the high level cooperation extended to him during his tenure in Oman. – ONA
