    Muscat: His Highness Sayyid Theyazin bin Haitham Al Said, Minister of Culture, Sports and Youth, has, patronised the opening of the annual meeting of sovereign wealth funds organised by the Oman Investment Authority in Muscat with the participation of heads and members of more than 50 sovereign funds around the world representing 46 countries.

    His Excellency the Chairman of the Oman Investment Authority stressed the importance of this meeting and the accompanying conference, as it focuses on the latest global changes in the investment sector, such as energy transformation, artificial intelligence, supply chains and governance.

    Elon Musk, CEO of SpaceX and Tesla, in his video address, called on sovereign wealth funds to invest in artificial intelligence technologies.
