HH Sayyid Theyazin to preside over ‘Together We Progress’ forum tomorrow

Muscat: Muscat: Embodying the lofty approach of His Majesty Sultan Haitham Bin Tarik in direct communication with citizens, His Highness Sayyid Theyazin bin Haitham Al Said, Minister of Culture, Sports and Youth, will patronise the ‘Together We Progress’ forum on Sunday, March 18, 2023.

The forum has been organised by the General Secretariat of the Council of Ministers. It aims to create a platform to review the government’s policies and priorities in various axes, and discuss them with the audience represented by the various segments and groups of society.

Three axes will be covered within the forum, which will be held for the first time:

1) Oman Vision 2040 and the mechanisms for following up its implementation through the Oman Vision 2040 Implementation Follow-up Unit,

2) The financial measures taken by the government and their economic and social dimensions through the National Program for Fiscal Balance, and the National Program for Financial Sustainability under the umbrella of the Ministry of Finance,

3) The mechanisms for the government to deal with the priority of the labour market and employment through the National Program for Employment, under the umbrella of the Ministry of Labour.

Additionally, the forum will also witness a discussion session with their Excellencies concerned with these axes, during which questions from the attendees will be answered.
